Shift Availability: Full time, Monday-Friday, anticipated hours of 8am-4:30pm with some flexibility. Pay: $16-20/hour, dependent on experience. Job Description: Provide each patient with routine bathing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisor. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in and receive the nursing report upon reporting for duty. Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids. Complete daily showers for patients. Document care and patient refusals. Maintain intake and output records as instructed. Report injuries of an unknown source, including skin tears. Must possess a current and valid C.N.A. license. Must possess a current and valid CPR certification. Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test. 1 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred. Other Job Requirements: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to tactfully work with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents. Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition. Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements, and have the ability to maintain highly confidential information. Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.
