Responsibilities

Canyon Ranch is hiring a General Maintenance Technician I to handle day-to-day repairs and preventative maintenance across hotel rooms, spa, fitness, pool, and common areas. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes fixing things, staying busy, and working in a clean, well-run property.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, mechanical)

  • Respond to guest and staff work orders and service calls

  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks, including HVAC filter changes

  • Maintain pool and spa equipment; perform water testing and chemical balancing

  • Assist with moving/installing furniture and equipment

  • Identify and report safety issues; follow proper chemical handling procedures

  • Keep shop and storage areas organized; track parts and supplies

Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days per week

 

Pay starts at $17.50 per hour

 

 


Qualifications

Certification/License: Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record to meet Group B Driving Requirements.

 

Experience: Must possess a working knowledge of carpentry, tiling, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, heating, cooling, roofing, painting and associated building trades. Must be able to perform or be capable of learning pool and spa care and gym equipment maintenance.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  Must understand and demonstrate Canyon Ranch's standards of excellence and meet them in work performance, ensuring the best guest experience. Must have good communication and writing skills; must be able to work with a variety of people. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Must be able to work well under pressure and with deadlines. Must be able to work productively independently and/or with minimum supervision. Must be able to solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Must be knowledgeable in safety regulations and be safety conscious.
