JOB SUMMARYÂ
National flooring company, Dixie Carpet Installations, Inc. is looking for a qualified Sales Account Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales in Greenville, SC. and surrounding areas. As a Sales account manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. We will guarantee your rate of pay for your first full 12 months of employment after completion you will go straight commission, with a bi-weekly draw against future commissions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term successÂ
- Exp. in the flooring industry is a plusÂ
- Develop positive relationships with clientsÂ
- Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needsÂ
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networksÂ
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely mannerÂ
- Report on the status of accounts and transactionsÂ
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectivesÂ
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)Â
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growthÂ
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Â Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executiveÂ

- An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on timeÂ
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitudeÂ
