Overview

Sonora Behavioral Health is Tucson’s leading behavioral health hospital with 140 beds.  Our hospital serves children, adolescents, and adults in an acute hospital setting.  We are seeking passionate, hard-working, and skilled individuals to join our team of professionals.

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Plan and supervise Yoga activities for patients.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Maintain all related equipment.

· Document patient participation in the session and the progress with treatment goals.

· Assist in developing individualized yoga/fitness programs for patients.

· Communicate as needed with program staff.

· Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Completion of a vocational training or certificate program in yoga instruction required.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card required. 
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.
