With a significant installation base in mining across several continents, and room to grow, we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader with an eye for expansion to forge the future path of the global product portfolio.

The chosen candidate will lead the global strategy, innovation, and commercial performance of the centrifuge portfolio including; high speed decanter, vertical and horizontal centrifuges, while managing a small cross-functional, geographically dispersed team, and engaging with the vast matrixed network of manufacturing, services and sales groups that support the products. The candidate will drive product excellence, new footprint and installations, as well as market share growth, and profitability across all regions and sectors of the product lifecycle, with a focus on aftermarket services.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Organizational Management

  • Develop and execute a global strategy for the Centrifuge product line.
  • Identify market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities, including aligned market exposures, M&A and JV strategies – with a focus on rapid growth.
  • Oversee P&L, budgeting, and resource allocation for the global product line.
  • Lead a global matrix team to foster collaboration across Sales areas and functions
  • Mentor talent, drive performance management, and build succession pipelines.

Product & Innovation

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Work closely with R&D and product engineering to prioritize investments aligned with customer needs.
  • Champion innovation in materials science, digital solutions and sustainability.

Commercial Excellence

  • Drive with Sales to develop pricing strategies, value propositions, and key account plans.
  • Develop lifecycle offerings, driving footprint growth and aftermarket volumes
  • Enable technical teams to support complex customer solutions

Operational & Quality Governance

  • Ensure manufacturing standards (quality, cost, delivery) are met with Operations teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in product design, sourcing, and supply chain resilience.
  • Mitigate risks (raw material volatility, geopolitical disruptions).

Leadership Experience Required

  • 10+ years in industrial sectors (mining, heavy equipment) in business development and business leadership, with specific experience in industrial and mining centrifuge technology
  • Proven global leadership: Managed teams across regions; navigated matrix structures.
  • P&L ownership: Experience managing portfolios >$30M + revenue.
  • Product management: Launched and scaled consumable products globally.
  • M&A/Integration: Identifying and developing business models for acquisition and/ joint ventures as well as experience in execution and integration.
  • Technical background: Engineering or materials science exposure (e.g., metallurgy, process, mechanical) with explicit experience in heavy industrial and/or minerals applications would be well received

Education

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s in engineering or similar (Metallurgy, Materials, Mechanical) or Business.
  • Desired: MBA/ advanced technical degree.
