Job Overview:

Maintenance Supervisor – Tucson, AZ

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, planning, and overseeing the Maintenance department, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. This role drives area-specific maintenance projects and process enhancements while supporting a team of approximately 12 technicians. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position works closely with Production, EH&S, Quality, HR, Finance, and Engineering teams.

 

Shift & Schedule
Full-time | 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Flexibility to work outside of standard hours, including weekends and holidays, is required as needed.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead TPM efforts and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Apply Lean problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.)
  • Ensure equipment reliability to maximize productivity and product quality
  • Support technicians in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues
  • Implement process improvements to enhance changeover and line efficiency
  • Optimize asset utilization and plant performance
  • Provide training to upskill maintenance technicians
  • Schedule and manage preventive maintenance tasks and priorities
  • Oversee and inspect major contractor work (electrical, plumbing, mechanical)
  • Foster positive, professional relationships with employees and contractors
  • Enforce safety protocols and best practices

    • This is an exempt, salaried position paid on a biweekly basis. Compensation is flexible and determined based on the candidate’s experience

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management preferred

  • Mechanical/Electrical background with PLC experience strongly preferred

  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing

  • Proficient with SAP or other CMMS systems

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
