Corrpro Companies is looking for a Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer. 

Corrpro is the largest US corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro has a manufacturing/assembly site in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to support our offices across the country and other clients. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, gas utilities, government agencies, municipal water, wastewater utilities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree preferred

  • Certified ISO Quality Auditor and Six Sigma training preferred

  • 5 years of progressive quality assurance and quality training experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, external auditors and internal clients is a must

  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.

  • Must be able to travel as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the overall management of a Business Unit’s Quality compliance processes

  • Formulate quality assurance strategies 

  • Design, install, and evaluate process control and improvement systems and tools

  • Initiate / coordinate processes to manage quality information and the generation of summarized and conclusive reports to management, and lead resulting action plans 

  • Execute improvement projects to achieve breakthrough results in all areas of the supply chain, including product design, procurement, manufacturing, field operations, and associated business processes

  • Provide training, consulting, and mentoring to team members in the development of quality improvement skills and the application of statistical and other quality tools

  • Coordinate the deployment and integration of targeted changes across the organization

  • Perform internal and external (supplier) product, process, and quality system audits.  Report findings and corrective action requirements and conduct follow-up to ensure appropriate implementation of corrective actions

  • Support the advancement of business excellence initiatives, including support of ISO compliance and the deployment of targeted tools and practices

  • Collect, organize, monitor, and distribute information related to process management and improvement functions, including documentation of quality management standards

  • Facilitate and support Continuous Improvement Activities (APQP,  Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma)

  • Study, investigate, and recommend new technologies, methods, tools, and procedures in the areas of process improvement, defect and waste elimination, change management, and operational excellence

  • Provide advance quality planning support in the development and launch of new products, processes, services, evaluation and selection of new technologies, suppliers, and product-related services
