Allient Inc. is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team at our largest manufacturing facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma!

The Accounting Manager utilizes hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices to perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses. Apply now!

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and administers procedures for the accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions as the basis for determining income, expense, and financial condition of the operations and division.
  • Consolidates and analyzes financial data; prepares financial statements and audits financial forecasts.
  • Prepares workpapers and reviews work prepared by others, including the corporate general ledger and consolidated financial statements.
  • Participates in and implements monthly financial close. 
  • Participates in the preparation of monthly management financial reporting package and executive summary schedules.
  • Performs more complex accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization's financial resources and ensures that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements. 
  • Prepares and executes various financial reports and accounting internal control activities so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. These reports may include profit and loss statements, balance sheets, depreciation statements, cash flow, debtor and creditor lists, repayment schedules, regulatory reports and filings.
  • Reconciles more complex accounts and checks the accuracy of journal entries to ensure that the general ledger is accurate and complete.
  • Analyzes financial results and accounting records to provide management with feedback for business decision-making.
  • Reviews and analyzes financial information. Provides technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational area managers to help them develop budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
  • Coordinates accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • Master’s Degree and CPA preferred.
  • 6 –8 years of experience in accounting is required. 
  • Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data. 
  • Must be highly skilled in the use of Excel Spreadsheets and accounting software preferred.
