Welcoming guests with enthusiasm and creating an inviting, energetic atmosphere at the bar.

Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes, quality standards, and responsible alcohol service practices.

Sharing your knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, and menu offerings to make thoughtful recommendations and enhance the guest experience.

Taking food and beverage orders accurately while ensuring allergy information and special requests are communicated clearly.

Providing attentive, engaging service by anticipating guest needs and checking in throughout their dining experience.

Preparing beverages for both bar guests and the restaurant dining room while maintaining speed, accuracy, and consistency.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout every shift.

Processing guest payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Collaborating with Barbacks, Servers, Culinary, and Leadership to deliver seamless service.

Building relationships with returning guests and creating memorable experiences that encourage them to visit again.

Responding professionally and positively to guest requests and resolving service opportunities with confidence and care.

Education and Experience

Previous bartending experience preferred.

Hotel, restaurant, or upscale hospitality experience preferred.

Must be at least 21 years of age and able to meet all state and local alcohol service requirements.

Current Kansas alcohol service certification or licensing, where required, preferred.

Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service.

Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail preparation and standardized recipes.

Ability to confidently recommend food and beverage pairings.

Experience operating a point-of-sale (POS) system and processing guest payments accurately.

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred, but not required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift.

Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and move safely throughout bar, restaurant, storage, and back-of-house areas.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds, including cases of beverages, kegs, ice, glassware, and bar supplies.

Ability to safely operate bar equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant and bar environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
