Get to Know Your Team: 

  • Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital’s RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses.
  • Under the supervision of the Cardiologist, Radiologist or Electrophysiologist, performs all routine diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Provides patient care for a population base of all ages including adolescence, adult and geriatrics.
  • Assures the equipment is functioning properly.
  • Assists coworkers and physicians in performing difficult and complex catheterization procedures by monitoring the patient’s vital signs, interpreting patient status information, performing duties as a scrub assistant, and assisting cath team members in retrieving supplies, recording patient information, and operating equipment.
  • Provides performance improvement opportunities through team CQI processes.
  • Maintains a sterile, clean, environment. Educates patients, family members, and cath team.
  • Processes results, archives images, and stocks inventory.

Job Requirements: 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or related field
  • Must Possess an ARRT, RCIS or RCES Certification.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • If ACLS certified upon hire, must maintain, otherwise, obtain certification within 6 months of employment and maintain.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • 2 years CVT or Critical Care experience preferred.
