Iris Memory Care of Tulsa is a small, freestanding assisted living community dedicated entirely to residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We’re looking for compassionate medication aides who want to make a meaningful difference — every shift, every day. Why Iris? Small, intimate community — 54 residents across 3 buildings, so you’ll truly know the people in your care Meaningful, specialized work in memory care - not a general floor rotation Age-in-place model - you’ll walk alongside residents through every stage of the journey Competitive pay: $17/hr for CMAs, $17.50-$18.50/hr for ACMAs, based on experience Memory care experience is a plus - and rewarded in pay What You’ll Do As a medication aide at Iris, you’ll administer medications and provide hands-on care to residents at all stages of dementia — building real relationships in a community small enough to feel like home. Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and state regulations Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining Monitor and document vital signs and weights monthly or as required Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families Support life enrichment activities, outings, and social programming Maintain a clean, safe, and home-like environment Uphold the dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality of every resident Qualifications What We’re Looking For Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry as both a CNA and a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - required High school diploma or GED required; 12+ years of education preferred At least 18 years of age (or older if required by state regulations) 1+ year of experience working with older adults as a personal care assistant preferred Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred Ability and willingness to meet continuing education and state certification requirements Genuine compassion for people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia  At Iris Memory Care of Tulsa, you won’t be just another med aide on a large hospital floor.
