 Get to Know Your Team: 
  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
  • The Clinical Coordinator RN in Emergency Services applies clinical knowledge and skills to perform department audits, data abstraction and collections, quality overview related to patient care, and reporting.
  • This position also coordinates and oversees performance improvement activities that improve patient care/outcomes and completes data abstraction and collection within established time guidelines.
  • Assists in generating weekly, monthly, and other aggregate reports as needed to support the department. 
  • The emergency services coordinator is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act. 
  • The Emergency Services Coordinator manages the receipt and flow of data received from outside entities and imports it to the assigned systems.
  • Assist with all other duties assigned. 

Job Requirements:

  • Two years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
  • Oklahoma Nursing license
  • Associate’s degree minimum

 Preferred Job Requirements: 

  • Emergency Room experience
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission, HSFA, DNV, and other regulatory standards
  • Ability to implement and monitor the Plan Do Check Act model/ methodology for improving processes or carrying out changes for performance improvement in the Emergency Department
