To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter who is ready to perform on day one. You’ll need to be adaptable, and come in with ideas, suggestions, and the attitude that you’re willing to try just about anything. In a small team like ours, everyone wears a lot of hats, and nothing is “not your job.” The environment is dynamic, so you’ll also need to be flexible and adaptable to change as we grow. You will be handling responsibilities such as: Perform research and analysis of real property documents and title opinions to determine ownership. Coordinate with Revenue and JIB Accounting on all royalty owner and working interest owner matters. Manage changes in owner information, such as changes in address or banking information. Respond to owner/partner inquiries to resolve any issues with regards to verification and explanation of interests in a timely and professional manner. Manage suspense and escheat accounts based on various state guidelines and regulations. Coordinate and provide requested samples for internal and external audits. Other related items, as needed. To be a good fit for our Division Order Analyst, you will have: A Bachelor’s degree. 2+ years of relevant division order experience in Oil and Gas industry. Experience with various land management software systems. Knowledgeable with regards to complex lease and title issues. Must be familiar with various State (OK, TX, NM, AR & LA), Federal and BLM regulations and associated websites. (OCC, TRR, etc.) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office required, with emphasis on Excel and Word. Must be goal oriented, approaching multiple/concurrent deadlines with a sense of urgency and drive. Must be a team player who possesses the ability to adapt to new technologies, workflows and processes.
