Manages the overall maintenance and repair operations for all property, plant and equipment to ensure all assets are maintained properly and life safety codes are met. This position is responsible for regulatory compliance as it relates to environment of care which includes safety, security, utilities, emergency management, hazardous materials and waste and medical equipment. Responsible for ensuring compliance with governmental, Joint Commission, CMS, and all other regulatory agency management expections.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or related field required
OR
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in facilities maintenance or closely related work.
- Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, assign, and evaluate the work of the facilities department.
- Ability to gather and assess system data to identify trends, service gaps, and opportunities.
- Ability to prepare cost estimates and reports.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Excellent skills in administration, cognitive reasoning, workflow solutions, etc.
- Excellent skills in English usage, grammar, punctuation and style.
- Excellent skills in usage of Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong leadership and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous and maintain professionalism at all times.
