Job Description

As a Group Leader for our Roadway team, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex projects across multiple teams. In addition to managing projects, you will support team development and have the opportunity to grow into broader leadership responsibilities over time. You’ll help foster a collaborative, high-performing environment, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of the Roadway group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project scopes, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
  • Manage project teams, resources, and client communication
  • Support quality control and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget expectations
  • Mentor team members and contribute to team growth and development
  • Build and maintain client relationships and support future work opportunities
  • Follow Olsson project management standards and safety requirements

Qualifications

You bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required 
  • 8+ years of roadway design experience
  • 4+ years experience leading technical staff 
  • Strong project management experience (scope, schedule, budget)
  • Experience working with local municipalities required 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
