Pay Competitive pay based on experience. Job Summary The HVAC Installer is responsible for installing residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position ensures all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and company standards while providing exceptional customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, ductwork, thermostats, and related components. Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment. Install and modify duct systems as needed. Perform system start-ups, testing, and final inspections to verify proper operation. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes and manufacturer specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic questions regarding installed equipment. Complete installation paperwork accurately and thoroughly. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with dispatchers, service technicians, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow. QualificationsQualifications Previous HVAC installation experience required. EPA Certification required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals. Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday. Ability to work on ladders, rooftops, attics, and in crawl spaces. Ability to safely use power tools, hand tools, and HVAC diagnostic equipment. Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity. Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated heights. Visual ability to inspect equipment and identify issues. Ability to work extended hours or occasional weekends as business demands require. Preferred Qualifications NATE Certification. Experience with residential and light commercial HVAC installations. Sheet metal fabrication experience. Knowledge of smart thermostats and modern HVAC control systems.
