This position plays an important role in supporting both our Sales and Service Departments by maintaining an organized, customer-ready vehicle inventory and ensuring our dealership lot meets Nelson Auto Group's appearance standards. Job Responsibilities  Maintain the appearance of dealership inventory by cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors. Replenish vehicle fluids and replace batteries as needed. Install buyer guides, stock tags, and other required vehicle documentation. Keep dealership lots clean, organized, and aligned with merchandising standards. Move vehicles throughout the dealership as directed by management. Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, parking areas, and other dealership locations. Create key tags and maintain accurate vehicle key inventory. Retrieve and deliver vehicles across dealership property locations. Assist with lot organization to maximize vehicle presentation and accessibility. Perform routine inspections to ensure vehicles are customer-ready. Perform other duties as assigned by management. QualificationsQualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous automotive dealership or lot attendant experience is preferred but not required. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional attitude with a customer-first mindset. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and professional dealership appearance. Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind. Ability to safely operate and park a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs. Frequent walking across dealership lots and service areas. Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the day. Comfortable working around moving vehicles and dealership equipment.
