Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact in this role 

 

  • Maintain existing irrigation systems while overseeing a crew of 4–8 employees and managing their daily workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies by conducting weekly trainings and site inspections while managing inventory for materials and equipment.
  • Perform essential landscaping tasks including planting, pruning, weed and pest control, and seasonal lawn care to maintain property aesthetics.
  • Operate diverse heavy machinery and power equipment, and execute physical labor tasks such as trenching, material hauling, and snow removal.
  • Provide training for Landscaping Technicians, support special facility maintenance projects like seasonal painting, and handle customer inquiries professionally.

Qualifications

What minimum requirements you’ll need 

  

Education:  

 

  • High school diploma or Equivalent 

 

License:  

 

  • Valid State Driver’s License and insurable with company’s agent 
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) -preferred 
  • Pesticide Certification -preferred 
  • Willing to aquire Irrigation license within 1 year of employment.

 

Experience:  

 

  • Five years of experience in landscaping or horticultural work
