Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with Maintenance and Facility leadership to reduce equipment downtime and improve operational efficiency
  • Repair production equipment safely and efficiently following breakdowns
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Fabricate, modify, and install new or existing equipment
  • Support continuous improvement projects and assigned initiatives
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage
  • Comply with all NOV policies, HSE standards, and quality procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Duties

  • Diagnose and repair production equipment following breakdowns, ensuring safe and efficient restoration of operations
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
  • Fabricate, modify, and install new or existing equipment to support production and continuous improvement efforts
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment to complete maintenance tasks
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams to address equipment and process issues
  • Ability to work overtime and shift schedules as required
  • Stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day
  • Perform frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive movements throughout the shift
  • Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Push and pull equipment or materials throughout the shift
  • Travel up to 10% as needed

Education and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Candidates must be local or able to commute daily
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a maintenance, fabrication, or mechanical shop environment preferred
  • Experience supporting equipment repair, fabrication, or general shop operations required
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain forklift certification is preferred
  • Ability to read and use precision gauges, drawings, and technical instructions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand tools
  • Willingness to be cross-trained and learn multiple job functions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and reliability
