Hartzell Aviation MRO overhauls and distributes piston engine and limited airframe accessories from its locations in Tulsa, OK and Ft. Key Responsibilities:

Develops, manages, and maintains the master production schedule to support operational efficiency, customer delivery requirements, and inventory objectives. Coordinates closely with production, materials, supply chain, procurement, and customer service teams to balance demand, capacity, and material availability. Ensures schedules align with business priorities while identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities to improve production flow and schedule performance. May provide guidance and leadership to planners or scheduling personnel.

Key Deliverables of the Position

1) Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on customer demand, inventory targets, and production capacity

2) Coordinate with production, materials, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure schedule alignment and material readiness

3) Monitor production schedules and identify risks, bottlenecks, or constraints impacting delivery performance

4) Forecast inventory requirements and support inventory optimization initiatives

5) Communicate schedule changes, production priorities, and deadlines to internal stakeholders

6) Analyze production performance metrics and recommend schedule adjustments or process improvements

7) Support capacity planning and long-range production forecasting activities

8) Maintain accurate planning data within ERP/MRP systems

9) Ensure production schedules support customer commitments and operational objectives

10) Provide guidance, leadership, and coaching to planners or scheduling staff as needed

Requirements

  

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply      Chain, Operations, Business, or related discipline required
  • 4–6 years of production      scheduling, planning, or supply chain experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of      production scheduling and planning processes
  • Experience working within      manufacturing or operational environments preferred
