JOB SUMMARY:

This position works under the Marketing Department and serves as the primary strategic resource for the Individual & Family Plan line of business. This role is responsible for coordinating growth strategies, training initiatives, and operational support related to Individual & Family Plans. The position works collaboratively across the marketing departmentto best serve and prepare our internal and external partners to support enrollment growth, retention, and overall satisfaction for the Individual line of business.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Individual & Family Plan products. 
  • Create and execute strategic growth initiatives for the Individual & Family Plan line of business. 
  • Provide training and ongoing education for internal marketing representatives, brokers, and agents selling Individual products. 
  • Develop and maintain sales materials, training resources, and product guides. 
  • Maintain knowledge of legislative updates, regulatory changes, and market trends impacting the Individual insurance market. 
  • Provide input and feedback on product design, competitive positioning, and market trends impacting the Individual market. 
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners, including vendor platforms, to enhance enrollment processes, notifications, and member onboarding experiences. 
  • Assist in coordinating operational readiness during the Individual Open Enrollment period. 
  • Responsible for identifying new opportunities with health insurance agents, brokers and consultants, and trains, educates and works with them to enhance the appeal of the company and its products being offered. 
  • Participate in preparing and conducting special marketing events and community engagement. 
  • Assist in maintaining internal databases, CRM, and other monthly monitoring activities as company procedure. 
  • Monitor enrollment, renewal, and retention data to identify trends and growth opportunities. 
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to marketing and executive leadership. 
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Strong understanding of health insurance markets, particularly Individual & Family Plans. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to analyze data and translate findings into strategic recommendations. 
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities independently. 
  • Must have a current driver’s license and vehicle insurance verification. 
  • Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check. 
  • Successful completion of Motor Vehicle Record Check. 
  • Ability to converse and write fluently in English. 
  • Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in health insurance, healthcare, or related field. 
  • Experience working with Individual & Family health plans, broker distribution, or health insurance enrollment processes preferred. 
  • State of Oklahoma Life and Health Insurance License or ability to obtain license within 45 days of hire date.
