 Get to Know Your Team: 
  • Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.
  • Perform complex tasks associated with operating high field strength magnets and equipment to produce quality images. 
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the scan. 
  • Position patients and start IVs as needed. 
  • Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality, exposure, and transmit to PACS. 
  • Operate the scanner to provide cross-sectional images and data for medical treatment and diagnosis. 

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the 
    Council of Medical Education of the AMA or equivalent MRI School.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or American Registry of MRI Technologist (ARMRIT).
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Advanced certification in MRI.
