Camtronics, a subsidiary of HEICO, is seeking a Full-Time Paint Prep Technician. 

 

The Paint Prep Technician position is primarily responsible for performing sanding and bodywork repair of antennas.  Second Shift Positions available.  Monday - Friday 3:30 PM- 12:00 AM, Overtime as needed

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Completes taping and sanding of antenna exterior.
  • Performs bodywork and repair on antennas.
  • Works to approved documentation such as repair order, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
  • Use of shop tools and various shop equipment.
  • Document traceability of components used in assembly on manufacturing orders.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

 

Work Experience:

  • Previous experience using shop tools in a production environment preferred.
  • Previous experience performing bodywork, painting or sanding tasks preferred, but not required. 

 Specialized Knowledge or Abilities:

  • Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. 

 

Physical Demands:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand; walk; bend, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The Team Member may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

 

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
