Job Summary

General labor in the plant working in various areas.  Setup, operate and use the following tools: deburr grinders, impact gun, overhead crane and forklift. Also, use of black oxide and acid solution to preserve parts.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plans work from shop orders for a variety of production runs on designated types of the less complex parts for Tulsa products.  Follows specific instructions and detailed blueprints.
  • Inspects parts for conformity to specifications, uses precision measuring equipment, and records   readings on OIR (Operator Inspection Record)
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Performs minor maintenance and servicing of tools such as the daily cleaning and oiling of equipment. 
  • Furnishes own hand tools and precision measuring instruments that are necessary to perform assigned duties.
  • May provide assistance to other employees as needed. 
  • Performs other work as assigned.
  • Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion. 
  • Knowledge of applicable Material Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • For protection of self and others, performs all work in accordance with established safety practices and facility safety rules
  • Produces quality, on time parts and complies with ISO 9000 requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

Completion of High School or equivalent, requiring the use of basic shop math and the posting, preparation, interpretation, use and checking of reports and recorded data. Basic blueprint reading.

Experience: 1 year manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Physical requirements:   Bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting (50lbs), standing and walking.

Must be authorized to work in the USA
