Lloyd Richards Personnel is seeking a dependable Quality Control / Material Receiving Technician for a leading manufacturing facility in Sapulpa, OK.


This position is responsible for receiving steel plate, verifying material certifications, performing quality inspections, and safely operating forklifts and overhead cranes to support production operations.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing, quality control, or material handling experience who takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.


Responsibilities

  • Measure steel plate to blueprint specifications.
  • Review MTRs for material grade, heat numbers, and certifications.
  • Maintain material traceability and inspection documentation.
  • Perform basic dye penetrant inspections and quality checks.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely.
  • Move and stage materials throughout the facility.
  • Use hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Lift materials weighing up to 50-100 pounds as needed.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.


Qualifications

āœ” Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred

āœ” Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes

āœ” Ability to read blueprints and measuring devices

āœ” Strong attention to detail

āœ” Ability to maintain documentation and records

āœ” Reliable transportation and attendance

āœ” Ability to work overtime and Saturdays when needed
