Okie Staffing is seeking a reliable Quality Inspector to ensure all manufactured parts meet stringent quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will perform inspections, document results, and collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to maintain product integrity.

Location: Tulsa, OK

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day shift

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing First Article, in-process, and final inspections in support of manufacturing operations. This role ensures all products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable quality standards. The Inspector plays a critical role in preventing defects, maintaining compliance, and supporting production efficiency.

  • Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspections using standard measuring equipment
  • Interpret and inspect to engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain required quality records
  • Accept or reject products based on applicable specifications and standards
  • Identify, document, and control nonconforming materials
  • Prioritize inspection workload to support production schedules and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with Production and Engineering to resolve nonconformance issues
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities
  • Support development of inspection methods for new products
  • Perform off-site inspections as required
  • Track time and job activity within ERP/MRP systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience using standard measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems)

Preferred:

  • Experience working within an AS9100 quality management system
  • Experience performing gage R&R studies
  • Experience with calibration systems
  • CMM operation and/or programming experience or certification
  • Welding inspection experience or related certification

Post-secondary technical education may be substituted for experience requirements.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to move throughout a manufacturing environment

This position operates within a manufacturing facility and requires close interaction with production, engineering, and quality teams.
