Allient Inc. is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our team at our largest manufacturing facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma! 

The Quality Manager is responsible for supporting and overseeing Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and managing a team that promotes direct customer and vendors satisfaction. This role will champion continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives to establish an effective Quality and Environmental Management System (QMS/EMS) supporting a zero-defect mentality. This role will oversee quality management initiatives across all manufacturing cells, ensure compliance with established standards, and foster continuous improvement processes. Apply now!

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the primary quality assurance resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Supports concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer.
  • Establishes and supports measurement metrics for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity and Environmental (+QDIP(E)) for system effectiveness and to enable managers to make sound product / process quality decisions.
  • Establishes collection and analysis systems of statistical data to predict trends that will affect improvement of product and process quality and environmental systems.
  • Trains employees as to their impact in the quality, environmental and safety management system.
  • Establish, document, and maintain quality standards for all manufacturing processes across all cells and disciplines
  • Oversee adherence to quality standards throughout all production processes. 
  • Lead the coordination of the Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) process
  • Generate metrics and reporting for the RMA process to inform management reviews. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in Mechanical, Electrical or Quality Engineering. MBA preferred
  • 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with proven track record in leading a quality department
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485, AS9100, ISO26262, ITAR, & IATF16949.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office and ERP or MRP system
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and calibration/preventive maintenance practices. 
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team

Physical Demands:

  • The role is mostly office-based but does spend considerable time standing and walking on the production floor.
  • Will operate a computer, other office devices, as well as some machinery on the production floor.
  • Occasionally will have to lift and/or transport items weighing between 10 and 40 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Predominately office environment with occasional exposure to the production floor.
  • May wear precautionary, protective wear such as safety glasses while on the production floor
  • Some travel required.
