Job DetailsJob Location: Tulsa, OK 74136The Security Officer position is responsible for securing the assigned premises, personnel, members, students and guests by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises Protect the ministry’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures. Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations. Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance. Perform first aid or CPR. Provide excellent customer service. Qualifications Must have or be able to obtain a valid Oklahoma ID or License per the state of Oklahoma. High school diploma or GED, Bachelor's in Police Science or related field preferred. One (1) year proven work experience as a Security Officer, preferably. Valid Cleet Armed License is preferred; Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills. Sound judgement Ability to work in a team environment. Flexible hours for availability (including evenings and weekends).
