Pay: $22-$29 per hour, based on experience Job Responsibilities Replace windshields on vehicles throughout the Nelson Auto Group. Repair minor windshield chips in non-driver line-of-sight areas when appropriate. Perform ADAS calibrations, including lane departure and forward-facing camera calibrations. Inspect vehicles before and after installation to ensure quality workmanship and proper fitment. Safely remove and install automotive glass while protecting vehicle interiors and exteriors. Operate scan tools, calibration targets, and related equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all manufacturer procedures and safety guidelines. Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding repair status. Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as needed. QualificationsQualifications Previous windshield installation experience is required. No exceptions. Experience performing ADAS calibrations using scan tools and calibration targets. Strong understanding of automotive glass installation procedures and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications Automotive Glass Safety Council (AGSC), ANSI, or AGRSS certification. ASE Certification. Experience using a variety of windshield installation tools and calibration equipment. Experience with multiple vehicle makes and models. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry windshields, tools, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with occasional team lifting for larger glass. Ability to safely enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the shift. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements while using hand and power tools. Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and tolerate varying temperatures and weather conditions. Ability to maintain attention to detail while performing precision installations and calibrations.
