QualificationsSummary Of Role The Sr. Lending Administrative Assistant supports Commercial Lending Officers by coordinating the administrative, operational, and documentation needs of business loans. This role manages the loan process from origination through closing, prepares loan packages, facilitates communication between clients and internal teams, and helps ensure timely, compliant documentation. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of lending products and procedures. Major Duties and Responsibilities •    Assists the lenders with collecting entity and financial information from applicants.  •    Orders due diligence items such as UCC and lien searches, title work, appraisals, evaluations, flood determinations and credit reports.  •    Coordinate with lending, credit, document prep, loan operations, and post-close teams to support timely processing, closing, and delivery of required       documentation. •    Support loan closings by preparing, organizing, and distributing loan and closing packages. •    Process loan-related transactions, including invoices, fees, advances, payments, wire transfers, and related follow-up actions. •    Monitor loan maturities, renewals, exceptions, NSFs, and past due reports to provide loan officers with clear portfolio visibility. •    Maintain loan files and records, process mail, schedule meetings, and provide administrative support for active and prospective relationships. •    Serve as a primary contact for applicants and customers by handling document requests, payments, routine inquiries, and ongoing communication           with professionalism and confidentiality. •    Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets       Control. Knowledge & Skills ExperienceMinimum years of 7+ years’ experience as a commercial lending assistant Education/Certifications/LicensesHigh School Degree or GED Role Important Behavioral Skills •    Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with loan officers and other staff members.  •    Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in client interactions •    Strong time management skills to meet all deadlines.  •    Effective oral and written commination skills  •    Problem Solving/Analysis  •    Excellent customer service skills  •    Accuracy and Attention to Detail •    Adaptability  •    Basic skill level in Microsoft Word and Excel  •    Knowledge of loan regulations and their application in the lending process ADA Requirements Physical Requirements Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on a computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance. Working Conditions  Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Mental and/or Emotional Requirements Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace.  Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising the highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
