Okie Staffing is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Programming Operator with expertise in Haas machines to join a expanding oilfield tool manufacturing company based in Tulsa. This company prioritizes precision, accountability, and a collaborative team environment. If you are dedicated to producing top-quality components and can work autonomously, we would like to hear from you.

The CNC Lathe Machinist will be tasked with setting up and operating Haas CNC lathes, including those with live tooling, to produce precision oilfield components. This role requires the ability to work independently, interpret and read blueprints, and guarantee that parts comply with strict tolerances and quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate Haas ST-30SS and Haas ST-20YSS CNC lathes
  • Run machines with live tooling capability
  • Perform complete machine setups independently (no assistance required)
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
  • Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards
  • Make program edits at the machine as needed
  • Assist in other areas of the shop when needed (team-oriented mindset required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CAM software, preferably Autodesk Fusion 360
  • Oilfield or tool manufacturing experience
  • Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and materials
  • High attention to detail and safety standards
Compensation
  • Pay is competitive and based on experience and qualifications. Starting $30-35.00 DOE
