Service Work: (95%) Cleans/ sanitizes bathrooms- cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, and replenishes supplies. Sweeps, vacuums, mops and waxes floors; sweeps sidewalks. Cleans windows, dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures. Empties trash cans regularly; collects trash from grounds. Assists in setting up meeting rooms, tables and chairs Assists in monitoring light fixtures to ensure all light bulbs are in working order. Assists the public in unloading and carrying donations. Assists in performing housekeeping work at lodge/shelter. Other Responsibilities: (5%) Performs other related work as required Physical Requirements: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing. Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing housekeeping and minor maintenance work. Working Conditions: Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt and dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors. QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Education and Experience: HS diploma or GED, AND one-year experience performing job related responsibilities preferred, OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
