How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Design customized rehabilitation journeys that empower patients to reclaim their independence and master the activities of daily living.
- Lead evidence-based therapeutic interventions that address physical, cognitive, and emotional barriers to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Empower families and caregivers through clear, compassionate education, providing them with the confidence and tools needed for successful care at home.
- Mentor and guide Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and support staff to maintain a high standard of clinical excellence and collaborative care.
- Advocate for patient progress by continuously refining care plans and documenting the milestones that lead to a safe, successful discharge.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Occupational Therapist temporary letter will be accepted until license is issued.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
