Staff Accountant

Description

Enovation Controls is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our financial and cost accounting teams. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting audits, and maintaining essential accounting records. Your ability to meet deadlines, analyze financial data, and collaborate across departments will contribute to the continued success and financial integrity of our organization.

Key Job Responsibilities 

• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly journal entries for financial close processes
• Research financial issues, perform data analysis, and present conclusions and recommendations to management
• Contribute to the development and documentation of departmental policies and procedures
• Support the cost accounting function with periodic activities and special projects as needed
• Perform other accounting duties and provide general support to the accounting team as assigned 

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

Experience and Skills

• 3+ years of professional accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
