Job DetailsJob Location: Casino - Tuolumne, CA 95379Position Type: Full TimeSUMMARY: Responsible for preparing food in accordance with established company and departmental policies and procedures under the direction of the Pastry Chef and Baker I.   Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to) Under the direction of the Baker I, ensures all functional duties associated with this job are performed according to established company and departmental policies and procedures. Notifies Baker I prior to depletion when stock needs to be replenished. Prepares food in accordance with recipe specifications. Responsible for preparing / baking items in accordance with recipe specifications. Restocks stations as required. Maintains effective flow of production and ensures freshness of products. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Must complete Food Handler or ServSafe certification or have proof of current certification. Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license. Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test. Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English. Must possess and maintain a valid California driver license and Black Oak Casino driver’s permit. Requires knowledge of baking and kitchen operations. Must have knowledge of cleaning, set-up and breakdown procedures. Physical Demands: Must be physically able to perform all job requirements. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.       Work Environment: Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment. Must be able to work in a noisy environment. Must be able to work in extreme cold (below 32 F) up to ½ hour at a time and extreme heat (above 100 F) up to 4 hours at a time. Possible exposure to dust, gas, fumes, steam, or chemicals. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and special events. Required to work around moving machinery.
