Job DetailsJob Location: Casino - Tuolumne, CA 95379Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $18.00 Hourly SUMMARY: Responsible for greeting and helping Guests in a courteous, friendly manner and promoting all aspects of Black Oak Casinos retail operations.   Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to) Opens and closes the Gift Basket in a timely manner. Maintains the Gift Basket in a neat and clean manner ensuring that all counters, cabinets and merchandise are kept orderly and dust free. Ensures proper inventory controls, by maintaining accurate records of merchandise sold. Interacts with Guests, greets and provides the highest level of Guest service. Handles cash and other acceptable forms of payment utilizing current point-of-sale equipment. Assists in ordering and maintaining appropriate stock. Inspects merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed. Ensures that all Policies and Procedures are followed. Assists the Retail Lead in creating and setting up displays of merchandise. Assists the Retail Lead in conducting inventories. Assists in maintaining inventory, ensuring accountability of all merchandise on a monthly basis. Assists in the daily merchandising of the Gift Basket. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements: Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old. Must have ability to effectively communicate with Guests, fellow Team Members, and supervisors. Must have experience in Retail with an emphasis on merchandising preferred. Must have a good knowledge of all retail merchandise and inventory. Must have excellent organizational and exemplary judgment skills. Must possess a level of computer literacy and the ability to learn new programs. Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced, 24 hour atmosphere and work under pressure. Must have previous money handling experience and the ability to operate a 10-key adding machine by sight. Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test. Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license. Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.     Physical Demands: Must be physically able to perform all job requirements. Must be able to lift 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance. Work Environment: Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment. Must be able to work in a noisy environment. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
