Position Summary: The Facilities & IT Support Specialist is responsible for assisting the Security & Facilities ManagerĀ
and the Network Manager by supporting and maintaining the bank's physical security systems, low-voltageĀ
infrastructure, facilities technology, and IT equipment deployment across all bank locations. This position serves as a keyĀ
liaison between Facilities, Information Technology, Security, and external vendors to ensure that all security andĀ
technology assets are installed, maintained, and operated efficiently.

Physical Security & Facilities TechnologyĀ
Ā
Security Systems Maintenance
- Install/replace, diagnose/repair, and service electronic security devices across all bank locations, including access control systems, video surveillance systems (CCTV), door access devices, alarm systems and electronic locking mechanisms
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on security equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Coordinate with vendors when specialized support is required while seeking opportunities to reduce outsourced maintenance expenses
Low-Voltage Infrastructure
- Install, terminate, test, and maintain low-voltage cabling associated with: Security cameras, Access control systems, Alarm systems, and Network-connected security equipment
- Troubleshoot/repair wiring issues and ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations
- Coordinate subcontractors on large-scale wiring projects while overseeing project quality and completion
Security Operations Support
- Serve as backup and overflow support for the Security Officer in monitoring and responding to surveillance systems, access control systems, and alarm notifications
- Assist with security investigations and security-related system reviews as needed
- Support branch security assessments and recommend improvements

IT Equipment Deployment & Asset Management
- Configure, install, and decommission IT equipment, including desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers , and peripheral devices
- Support the annual hardware refresh program
- Maintain inventory and tracking of technology assets
Branch Openings, Relocations, and Renovations
- Coordinate technology requirements for branch openings, branch relocations, renovation projects, and new construction projects
- Partner with Facilities, IT leadership, contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure timely completion of technology and security-related work
- Oversee technology infrastructure installation activities, including network and security wiring
Security Technology Coordination
- Work closely with the Security Officer and IT team on security-related technology initiatives
- Provide technical support for security camera systems, network connectivity for security devices, IP addressing and network configuration, and access control systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues affecting security infrastructure
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
- Participate in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) activities
- Serve as a member of site assessment and recovery teams
- Assist with disaster recovery testing and execution of recovery procedures
- Support emergency response efforts to restore facilities and technology services following incidents

Ā Customer Service (10%)
- Represent Guaranty Bank & Trust Company professionally, efficiently, and tactfully
- Acknowledge and greet customers with a smile, call customer by their name, ask if they need any additional assistance, thank customer at end of every conversation
- Ensure continuing development of professional relationships with management and colleagues.Ā
- Follow all bank policies and procedures
- Answer and assist incoming callers with questions and requests, subsequently route callers, as appropriate.
- Receive incoming bank visitors and assist in directing them appropriately.

Position Qualifications
Education: Required: Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and job-related experience. Preferred: Associate degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Facilities Management, Computer Networking, or related field.
Experience: Required:Ā Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security systems, low-voltage cabling, facilities technology, IT support, or a related field.Ā
Preferred: Experience with CCTV, access control systems, alarms, and electronic door hardware preferred. Experience installing and supporting computer and network equipment. Banking or financial services industry experience.
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of electronic security systems, access control platforms, video surveillance systems, intrusion alarm systems, low-voltage cabling standards, basic networking concepts, IP addressing and network connectivity troubleshooting. Ability to use hand tools, testing devices, and installation equipment. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and common office technology.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel frequently between branch and office locations.
- Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work after hours and weekends when required for installations, upgrades, maintenance, or emergency response
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
