Position Overview:

The Licensed Program Expert provides clinical leadership to assigned teams and effectively implements Youth Villages’ treatment models.  The Licensed Program Expert demonstrates the ability to train on evidenced supported practices and the application of Youth Villages’ treatment model to personnel with various professional backgrounds.  The Licensed Program Expert ensures the success of the treatment program including: providing weekly virtual or face-to face consultation, ongoing training to the treatment teams, providing consultation and training to supervisors, participating in program model reviews, and coordinating clinical development of staff with leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Licensed Program Expert:
 

  • Coordinates training including scheduling, preparation of materials, and facilitating all activities required to successfully complete

  • Provides additional resources and relevant materials regarding research proven interventions

  • Works with the program staff/director and the Clinical Services Program Manager in matters pertaining to major critical events

  • Monitors activities, alongside leadership, to ensure adequate supervision of specialists/counselors

  • Conducts clinical consultations and provides training/development, as needed, in conjunction with leadership

  • Serves as a consultant to the specialists/counselors in all areas of clinical treatment provision

  • Oversees clinical quality of services delivered in assigned regions/teams in conjunction with leadership

  • Reviews documentation in an electronic medical record system (EMR) and provides input into development and training in this area

  • Works closely with the Clinical Services Department on issues of clinical quality and documentation as needed

  • Contributes to development plans and meetings with specialists/counselors on assigned teams

  • Maintains policy, professional growth, and quality of service within the Clinical Services Department

  • Assists and develops periodic evaluations of clinical program policies and procedures

  • Participates in special projects as requested

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a social services discipline (required)

    • Degrees that can be considered include: social work, drug and alcohol education or counseling, psychology, criminal justice, guidance counseling, or marriage and family therapy (others subject to review)

  • Must be independently licensed (LCSW, LICSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or LP) or within one year from completion of licensure (required)

  • Supervisory experience within Youth Villages (preferred)

  • Experience in community-based programs (preferred)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Basic computer knowledge

  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
