As an Electrical Technician you will develop and deliver programs to train and ensure competency of channel personnel, Baker Hughes employees, and customers (end users) on the assembly, testing and servicing of Flow Control & Safety Solutions products. 

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and installing cable trays, ducts, and electrical pipes for generators and their accessories, ensuring proper labeling and connection of all parts and cables.

• Installing terminal blocks and terminal boxes, as well as performing preparatory work such as cleaning threads and mating surfaces.

• The installation of electrical pipes and their connecting elements and installation of cable trays on the generator and its accessories.

• Engaging in tasks such as grinding, drilling, and bending pipes, and tightening machines to frames.

• Producing and installing labels for machine parts using a laser printer.

• Adhering to health and safety standards, environmental protection protocols, and quality procedures throughout all tasks.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

• Attention to detail and diligence with an eye for quality

• Hold a valid Passport and the ability to travel internationally

• Have good interpersonal skills, inclusive working style and able to effectively communicate

Desirable skills/experience

• Knowledge of Power Generation / Rotating equipment

• Have a High School Diploma, GED or Vocational qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline

• Have experience in mechanical assembly with basic electrical experience and training

•            Two-shift schedules, including rotational night shifts

Comprehensive training for this role will be conducted in Pilsen, Czech Republic, lasting six weeks. There will be a requirement to travel to Pilsen for two weeks each month over a period of three months.
