We’re hiring a Laundry Attendant to Live. Work. Explore. just one mile from the entrance to the iconic south rim of Grand Canyon National Park!

Job Summary:
Work in all phases of main laundry operation to include: Prepare linen for laundering, including sorting, counting, folding, pressing, stocking and preparing for delivery to rooms and departments.

The Details:
Position Type: Full-time, Year-Round

Start Date: August 2026
Pay: $16.80 per hour
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

Support Xanterra’s Mission Statement and Core Values while delivering exceptional guest service and operational efficiency
Process laundry operations, including sorting, weighing, washing, drying, folding, pressing, stocking, and delivering linens to designated locations
Meet daily production standards to ensure a consistent supply of clean linens for housekeeping and guest operations.
Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, monitor chemical levels as needed, and report equipment issues promptly.
Follow all company, safety, environmental, and risk management policies, including proper handling of chemicals, biohazard linens, and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a housekeeping, laundry or custodial position preferred
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Comfortable working in a loud, noisy environment

Physical Requirements include:

Constantly standing
Frequently walking, reaching outward & above shoulders, bending, lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs., and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs
Occasionally squating/kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs
