CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT (CI) MANAGER
VANCE, AL

Incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for developing CI culture, leading impactful projects to improve plant performance, and completing required CI deliverables.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Manage CI activities and drive culture by cultivating the use of CI strategies and tools.
  • Work with departments to establish CI objectives that align with strategic goals.
  • Lead and establish priorities for CI personnel.
  • Create, Evaluate, Communicate, and share best practices.
  • Apply statistical principles to evaluate and improve processes.
  • Build and lead cross functional process improvement teams.
  • Lead Green Belt training, coach green belt and black belt projects.
  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Work well in teams and make daily decisions with minimal guidance.
  • Effectively lead others and maintain the trust and cooperation of others.
  • Serve as Mentor on CI workshops and Kaizen events and utilize data trends to identify cost reduction projects.
  • Implement and maintain robust team member suggestion systems to enhance engagement.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience.
  • BS Degree and a minimum of five years progressive experience.
  • Subject matter expert in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing topics
  • Black Belt certification
  • Excellent People Skills

BS in Engineering, Business, Quality, or related field.
