Description

The Digital Banking Professional will be responsible for performing the daily functions surrounding online banking including, but not limited to, the processing of remote deposit, enabling online wires, online banking applications and account adds, and related reports. This is a remote position with a home office assigned at the Tuscaloosa Annex. Periodic travel may be required.

Requirements

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Facilitates day-to-day operations of digital banking including but not limited to: Queued Tasks, Remote Deposit, Reports, and Misc maintenance requests from management.
  • Provides advanced support for fellow system users including Member Care Agents and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) by providing password resets, help with digital banking research, or creating and managing service tickets with ACU’s digital banking provider.
  • Actively participates and engages in development activities that enhance the employee's knowledge and skill set, to include Talent Development activities, OWN sessions and engaging in supervisor assigned goals for performance enhancement. Shares expertise to enhance coworker and team performance excellence.
  • Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, project research, computer input, and other duties as assigned to ensure smooth business operations for member and coworkers. Completes tasks and maintains work area in accordance with the Branch Operating Standards.
  • Actively participates in community service functions, to include 15 hours of paid community involvement activities per year.

Knowledge and Skills

  • One year to two years of similar or related experience.
  • A high school education or GED.
  • Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
  • General: Excellent oral and written communication skills; and the ability to comprehend and apply rules and guidelines appropriately within position.
  • Leadership: Professional presentation and the ability to maintain productivity with little supervision is required. Self-motivation to complete job tasks to the best of personal ability; eagerness to learn new information in a fast-paced environment, and adaptability to apply new information as appropriate.
  • Technological: The use of a personal computer to include MS Word, Excel, and ability to use web and web-based applications; keyboarding 30 wpm.
  • Industry-Specific: Ability to alphabetize and sort in numerical order; attention to detail with good organizational and communication skills. The ability to change tasks quickly and efficiently, and manage multiple conflicting priorities, is key to this position.
  • During the course of a normal workday, incumbents will sit, stand, walk, see, hear, reach, use gross and fine motor coordination for activities such as using standard office machines, using paper (to include counting cash, sorting and filling paper items, etc.), and occasionally lift and carry incidental items such as supplies.
