This role involves overseeing quality assurance processes, implementing quality control measures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations, particularly PPAP, IATF 16949, and APQP, as well as proficiency in color and gloss reading to maintain product excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies and processes to meet industry standards and customer expectations. - Oversee the execution of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) requirements. - Conduct thorough inspections and audits to verify product quality and adherence to specifications. - Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to integrate quality standards into all aspects of operations. - Train and mentor junior quality engineers and other staff on quality assurance practices and industry standards. - Utilize color and gloss reading techniques to ensure aesthetic and functional quality of products. - Prepare and present detailed quality reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement. - Stay updated with the latest industry developments and quality management techniques to continuously enhance the quality assurance processes. - Support customer audits and address any quality-related inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively.  QualificationsRequired Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. - A combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. - Automotive industry experience is mandatory. - Desirable qualifications include knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), IATF 16949 (International Automotive Quality Management Standard), APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), and proficiency in Color and Gloss reading. Required Experience: - A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the automotive industry. - Proven track record of managing quality assurance processes and systems in a manufacturing environment. - Experience with quality management systems and methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing, is advantageous. - Demonstrated experience in conducting audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
