The Lane Bryant Associate is responsible for creating a hospitable store environment using customer engagement that contributes to the achievement of Company goals. Success Characteristics include creating a warm and welcoming environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, representing the brand through fashion and product knowledge, and seamlessly integrating OMNI experience. Responsibilities include sales and service by identifying customer needs and wants through intentional conversation, using company resources to reinforce the brand experience and build strong relationships, sharing current products, fit and fashion trends to appropriately wardrobe and inspire customers. Operations duties include supporting operational areas as needed, planning and prioritizing tasks to meet customer and business needs, protecting company assets, maintaining a safe work environment, and following all company policies and employment laws. Requirements include strong sales or hospitality experience preferred, ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, proficiency with mobile technology such as registers and iPads, ability to adjust or move store fixtures and merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance, and ability to retrieve merchandise stored above shoulder level using a ladder.
