Job Title: Tire Technician, Level 1Â

POSITION OVERVIEWÂ
Mounting and dismounting tires, flat repairs, and vehicle inspections. Â Â
Â
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- Perform tire work (both retail and commercial). Mount and dismount, air pressure checks, balancing, tire rotation and flat repairs. Â Ensures lug nuts are tightened to the proper torque specifications. Â Â
- Inspect vehicles as per the VIR training expectations.Â
- May recommend safety and preventative services to our customers.Â
- Receiving of product into location prior to putting away.Â
- Perform vehicle oil changes as per VIR training standards as required.Â
- Assist with opening and closing of store, including EOD.Â
- End of shift duties completed (cleaning, finishing work)Â Â
- Facility maintenance and clean-up including but not limited to:Â
- Sweeping, empty garbage cansÂ
- Assist in organization of all tire and lube shop related supplies.Â
- Parking lot cleaned of debit and/or garbage.Â
- Warehouse Organization to include ensuring like tires are together, inventory is faced, rows are clean and tidy and help ensure the area stays safe for operating.Â
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness of your workspace including bay areas, Commercial Tire Vehicles, and customer vehicles. Â
- Shuttle and/or customer courtesy driver.Â
- Assist with phone and counter duties as needed. Â Â Â
- Ensures that customer satisfaction and communication is of the utmost importance.
- Other duties as assigned, to include but not limited: Â oil changes, lube shop support, alignment support. Â

- Experience in a vehicle maintenance shop (preferred).Â
- High school diploma equivalent (preferred).
