Job DetailsJob Location: TWIN LAKES, WI 53181Sheet Extrusion Operator Allied Plastics is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our manufacturing team as a Sheet Extrusion Operator. As a Sheet Extrusion Operator, you will play a key role in the production process by operating extrusion equipment, monitoring product quality, supporting production efficiency, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities Operate and monitor sheet extrusion equipment safely and efficiently Assist with extrusion setups and startup procedures Verify sheet gauge, set knives and shear, and ensure correct sheet sizing Identify product defects and follow quality control procedures for non-conforming material Maintain accurate production and packaging records Package finished sheet material according to company standards Maintain proper material levels for incoming crews Grind scrap material during production and designated scrap times Operate forklift equipment safely (training provided if necessary) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment using 5S principles Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Perform general preventive maintenance and additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Manufacturing or extrusion experience is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic math and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Willingness to work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift, pull, and move up to 25 pounds occasionally Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery, moderate noise, and varying temperatures Why Join Allied Plastics?
