The position is always on the move, and you will be standing and walking for many hours without sitting and must be able to lift up to 20 pounds unless you need assistance, which a team member can assist.

General Manager Responsibilities:

The General Manager ensures that the restaurant operates smoothly and in a high state of cleanliness and provides strong leadership and supervision to the staff.

He or she manages and trains the staff to ensure they provide exceptional service to customers in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner and that they follow proper sanitation standards and keep all areas clean and sanitary at all times.

The ideal candidate for this position has a college degree (Hospitality, Food Service Management, or a related field) or high school diploma with applicable experience of three years of lead management experience in a hospitality, food service, or customer service position. Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, necessary knowledge of use of computer applications and software such as google, and Microsoft, professional appearance and behavior are required for this position.

This is a 55 hour a week scheduled full time position. If one is unable fulfill this schedule then the employee may be asked to consider or demote as the position is needed for the entire number of hours during the week.

Duties included but are not limited to:

  • Overall managing of operational unit
  • Managing proper food cost and labor percentage at the specific location.
  • Upholding the highest level of restaurant safety and cleanliness in order to keep customers safe
  • Profit and Loss accountability 
  • Hiring and Terminating of Staff
  • Retaining and Training of Staff
  • Scheduling Team and Management
  • Communicating all messaging from corporate to your team 
  • Team building and development of leaders within the operational unit
  • Cleanliness procedures
  • Keeping restaurant maintenance needs at standard 
  • Hospitality standards for the unit
  • Maintaining company morals and beliefs
