Frankston Packaging is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Frankston, TX. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance through routine inspections, testing, and documentation within a fast-paced production environment. The position plays a critical role in maintaining quality standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to company policies, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Perform product testing at designated intervals and during machine/job startups and provide feedback on quality measures
  • Perform Job Audits of completed jobs for accuracy and report waste
  • Review job jackets in process and confirm the tools required for manufacturing are available and correct
  • Sort internal and external product for defects, coordinate staging, removal, and inventory level changes
  • Assist in training personnel on best known methods of defect identification and new SOP implementation
  • Actively promote following procedures and all measures of detection, correction, and prevention of defects
  • Participate in root cause and corrective action process to eliminate and reduce manufacturing defects
  • Support the manufacturing process contributing to overall plant success
