Get to Know Your Team: 

  • UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with a Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians, and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities

Performs interventional radiology procedures for all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) by utilizing ionizing radiation and other imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of disease. Employees will be subject to overtime and call back as required by hospital.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:  

  • Graduate from an accredited school in Radiologic Technology.
  • Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Registered in VI within 2 yrs. of hire (recommended).
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift heavy objects, stand, bend, reach, and stoop

Preferred Job Requirements:  

  • 1-2 yrs. experience.
