Responsibilities

  • Makes and schedules appointment for procedures and surgeries for patients in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Verifies and pre-certifies insurance coverage for surgical procedures.
  • Coordinates day surgeries within main surgery department.
  • Maintain productivity logs for department director.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Job Requirements
  • Two to Three years of work experience in a medical office setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical scheduling
